In the main window of «My Wine Storage» the toolbar menu is on the top, the categories are on the left side. In the middle you see all entries of your wine storage. On the right you see the details of the selected entry. At the bottom there is the information line .

- Value of the displayed entries in local currency
- And instead of these values, messages from the program (e.g. when saving or deleting)

General operation
If your Mac has a Touch Bar, you can also use the functions from the Toolbar menu in the Touch Bar.

If you touch the "Manage Orders" icon on the Touch Bar, new icons will appear on the Touch Bar.

Here you get to the administration of:
- Generate order and open it in TextEdit
- Generate order and open in e-mail
- Generate order and print it out
- Graphical overview of all orders

If you touch the "Manage" icon on the Touch Bar, new icons will appear on the Touch Bar.

Here you can access the administration of
- Wineries
- Shops
- Countries/regions
- Grape varieties
- Own categories

Use the "Back" icon to return to the default Touch Bar.

When creating or changing categories and entries, all changes made are automatically saved. There is therefore neither a corresponding menu item nor a "Save" button.
An entry can be edited by double-clicking. When editing an entry it may be necessary to scroll the details area up and down. To get to the beginning or end of the details with a single click there are two arrows at the top and bottom right-hand edges ⬆︎⬇︎.


Scrolling can also be done via the keyboard.

If no entry is selected in the main window, editing the details is disabled.

If the following is activated in the macOS preferences, the window with the details is still opened in a separate window.

Show grape variety in Wikipedia®
In the list of entries you can directly access further information about the grape variety in Wikipedia®.

Select an entry and press the right mouse button in the column "Grape variety". Select "Show grape on Wikipedia" from the context menu.


Show details of the winery
In the list of entries you can directly access the details of the winery.

Select an entry and press the right mouse button in the column "Winery". Select "Winery Details" from the context menu.


Show shop details
In the list of entries you can directly access the details of the shop.

Select an entry and press the right mouse button in the "Supplier" column. Select "Shop Details" from the context menu.
